Hola.

Oh ok, well that makes things much easier for me at least hehe.

There is not a set release date as of yet for either the True Scale kit or the tracked unit. I plan to have the master sprues cast up by the end of next week.

As for price on the True Scale kit, im trying to go for around 8 dollars per upgrade kit but wont know for sure until the first sprues are pulled to determine the exact amount of resin used.

I plan to start a domain page with a full shopping cart once I get 5-10 items for release. In the mean time I will set up a small paypal/google shopping cart on the development blog at: www.threestagestudios.blogspot.com . I will have it set up once the master sprues are done and examples of the completed projects are done by next week.

From there ill have a limited number on hand and then take "pre-orders" in which I will cast them on demand personally on the day they are ordered so that I can ensure top quality with no miscasts and a very quick turn around from purchase time to the customer opening the package.

I declare myself a huge fan of realscale -that's what popped up my attention from your models, but my sculpting skills have never gone so far as yours, so if you're heading up in that direction, I'd be more than pleased to follow your work. How about a little realscale complete army, including some sort of vehicles? ::) Haha

::) Jaja)

I can easily make the arms, head, belly armor, shoulder plates, back pack power plant and a ton of other goodies for them that could all fit on a regular GW plastic ogre.

I can also make a bunch of small bionics for guard sized models. I know I can equal their prices but I wont know if I can get lower until I cast these things up to see how much resin is needed per bit/kit.

I will say I am aiming for the lowest costs possible. Im here to just help spread the awesome material on this hobby out there!

For those that dont like to click links or at work:

Just a small update on the track unit now officially part of an up coming line of something we like to call "Mech-Gryns". They are a modern version of the old AD Mech Robots with unique and fresh designs while keeping the general weapon load out the same on the various styles.

Please keep in mind final gap filling works needs to be done and not all parts for the kit are pictured. The GW termie torso is for scale only and NOT included.

Click image for larger version.  Name: SAM_1417.JPG  Views: 0  Size: 211.6 KB  ID: 135655

(Still a WIP in this picture.)

The kit is fully modular consisting of 11 parts: (and able to clearly fit many GW parts from torsos from almost all GW ranges and armies.)

1 main hull
2 track units
1 front armor plate
1 true scale space crusader torso (detailing to match the track unit)
1 mechanicus style fleshy head
2 cogged tooth shoulder pads (the space crusader heavy armor one)
2 shoulders (for making the arms modular)
2 arms (the ram seen and a servo arm/lifter claw)

It can be used in a number of armies and games, which is always a plus.

As for the True Scale Space Crusader Upgrade Kit:

I plan to have 3-5 five man upgrade sets ready by next Friday. I will also take a limited number of orders starting the same day for sets that i will cast on demand. I do plan to offer as many purchase options as possible from a single part, to the full upgrade kit.

The same will go for the track unit that I will have pictures of posted tomorrow showing the final detail work as its finished. Ive begun work on "mech-gryns" basically just RT robots brought back with a fresh build and made to fit on 40mm bases to count as ad mech "ogryns" since so many ad mech players use the guard dex. I do admit Ive had a soft spot for robots.

Parts in the works are weapons to fit both the mech gryns and the true scale kits as well as more variety with the shoulder pads. The true scale kit is still made to easily fit GW arms, pads and heads for those that do want GW parts on board.

I've been so busy working on new designs that I have forgotten to post some updates here! Let's get right to it!

True Scale Space Crusader Heavy Armor - I have come up with a few torso designs that I plan to implement shortly in preparation for the April Release. I'm also considering offering at least 1 other Shoulder Pad design if demand is there. Overall interest has been very high in this upgrade kit and as such has officially a "First come, first serve" policy. I will however offer as many as I can.

Track Kit - Now known as the TS4-A, is done. I will have final master photo shots up shortly in preparation for casting. It will be on sale by the end of the month. Demand is also pretty high on this but not as high as the True Scale kit, at least not yet! I have a few special treats in the works for this!

The newest project - Human sized tech space helmets and re breather backpacks. Pictures of that in progress work is below.

As you can see if fits a variety of sizes and, as I've been told, would be a good stand in for some Triarchs.

Any and all feedback is much appreciated! And just to add some incentive, any design changes that are recommended that I make, will earn that person a 5 dollars promo card for use in the TSS store.

Daniel, I'm definitely purchasing a Termies Squad kit :). I guess that somebody else up here will be doing so. As some of us are friends and know each other, maybe we make a single big order. I guess it'll be also easier for you to deliver. I'll tell you for sure in a couple days.

Hey Suber! Yup, a group order would save you guys soem money on shipping. When you work out the details, you can make the order via the store. Im using it as a way to make the "line" for the casts as they are pulled from the molds.

The pictures are a tad rough as the camera was being strange but they  are very crisp and finely detailed parts. I personally already have plans to flesh out a platoon with these for Zone Mortalis!

I've come back to the TS7 and decided before release, to change the shoulder pad design. I know it will be hard to give opinions without seeing it on the Robot itself but I'm hoping with the size clearly shown, and your trust that the overall shape will fit the design, we can deck this pad out to its maximum potential.

To that end, I'm asking for peoples feedback, design ideas/changes or anything in between on this large scale Robot shoulder pad. I just feel the pad right now is missing something. I do plan to add hanging connected cables from under the pad but the way I'm casting it, ill need to have that as a separate bit people can chose to add on when building the kit itself.

(gaps need filling but I generally do that last.)

Good? Bad? Ugly? I'm open to it all! Well, don't be to mean on me..

Also in prep for the actual TS4-A release/start of shipping date today, here are the master TS4-A parts before spruing and casting. Ive been so focused on getting the molds done on time, and design for future items I've been neglecting getting pictures up. I also will have painted display models up on the store in the next week or 2. Ive had samples sent out to a few leading painters from the web.

Over the next few weeks I will be releasing 'sister' units as well as alternate heads, torsos and arms so that people can make unique squads.

2x Tracks
1x Lower Track Body
1x Optional Front Armor Plate
1x True Scale Heavy Armor Torso
1x Helmeted Head
2x Shoulder Pads
1x Power Ram
1x Power Claw

The TS7 Robot (Knight) is at least 2 weeks off from even having pictures posted. But it is the next thing to be released. Ive just been busy casting, casting and more casting haha.

The space helmets and backpacks are made for 28mm models, including imperial guard.

The TS4 does come in parts. I sell packs broken down into sections such as just the lower half, or the kit minus the arms. If you want a specific part of it, im sure something can be arranged.

He estado liado haciendo moldes, jaja.

For those that made the pre order, the kits have begun shipping! I will be 100% caught up on every single pre order by the end of this weekend. Anyone who has placed an order since the release date earlier this week will have their kits sent out starting Monday once the pre sales are shipped.

The track units have also begun shipping for the pre orders as well. Regular sales for it are on hold until this coming Tuesday as the true scale kits have taken priority.

Ive gone ahead and included a picture to show the assembled True Scale kits as well as the scale compared to a heroic 28mm model. Also pictured are parts that can be used with the kit.

Washed with brown ink over no undercoat, but it shows the details on the 5 torso variations.

On a side note, the demand for these has been high and the molds are nearing the end of their life. I realistically see them only making a few more sets. There are no plans to remake the molds.

I just got in the first pictures of a painted upgrade set. It was painted by one of the first customers and I'm happy he chose to share it with me. It is using other companies arms and head, as its designed but is using the TSS torso, legs and shoulder pads. He said it was for his pre-heresy Iron Warriors army.

Being 6:30 am, i'm a bit tired so this may be short.

I'm Daniel. I run Three Stage Studios. You may have seen some of our new releases over the last 2-3 weeks including ad mech track units, human space helmets and rebreather packs, and even True Scale Space Crusader Heavy armor that is scaled to fit PERFECTLY with true scale marines made from plastic termies.

The conversion set comes with enough bits for five miniatures and includes torso and legs which can be combined with either the shoulder pads and the separate helmeted head coming with the set or with appropriate bits from other manufacturers. The only thing you"ll always need are additional arms and weapons.

This conversion set is doing to 6 full kits and a few of the smaller kits. The molds can possibly make a few more pulls but each pull will damage more and more of the molds. So if you want a kit or 2, now's the time before they are gone for good.

If you like what you see head over to Three Stage Studios (http://"http://threestagestudios.bigcartel.com/") and get them while  them while they are hot and before they are out of production!

In total there are less then 8 full kits and a hand full of partial kits such as just the legs and torso. If you want a chance at these, now is the time to act before they are OOP for good. They can be found in the TSS store, here.

Suber!!

As per the email sent to you, your orders  for yourself and other forum members here are in route and should be to you anyday if they havent already arrive.

In the mean time ive brought another model creator on the team as a temp until I get my own knight kit finished.

There are currently only 2 for sale on the store.

The set comes with:

The "Crusader Heavy Assault Robot" is perfect for a Knight Titan and looks the part.  It is 7" tall and comes with the following parts:

2 Heads (only one style pictured)
2 Styles of Shoulder Pads (only one style pictured)
2 Weapon Arms
1 Ion Cannon
1 Chain Blade Arm
1 Torso
1 Waist
2 Upper Legs
2 Knee Pads
2 Lower Legs
2 Feet

    Full Disclosure

I was given the pictures of the assembled kit by the seller from ebay, who I originally bought 4 kits to sell.

I did not cast the kit and it has nothing to do with my version that will come out soon. I will not be continuing future sales of this kit for the reason above and others also just found out.

Full credit of the assembled model in the picture goes to Mordian7th, who I just found out is the real "owner" of the pictures of the kit.

As some of you are aware, TSS is branching out into hiring out sculptors and designers as running a 1 man show and doing everything myself is rather difficult.

That being said, TSS is proud to bring some very nice kits direct from a designer we hope to get on the team full time.

S far he has designed 3 kick @ss 7 inch tall, multi part resin kits that can easily count as various variants of knight titans.

For right now, I only purchased a few of 2 of the sets to see if the demand is there. If it is, the plan is to hire the designer full time and bring more exciting kits to the store!
